Bringing the healing power of raw and living foods into your life
A healthy diet is essential for optimal health. If you are not currently experiencing the level of health that you desire, are suffering from fatigue, weight gain or other health concerns, chances are you can significantly improve your life by learning to feed your body the foods it is best designed to handle.
How would you like to get healthier while eating delicious, satisfying foods? You will learn how to do this by attending the Living on Live Foods class in Olney, Maryland.
During this class we will make and eat a delicious, full course meal, including soup, salad, appetizers, main course, dessert and beverage, and learn how easy it is to do the same at home. It is very empowering, informative, pleasing to the palate, and lots of fun!
This is what you will learn:
- what a raw and living food diet is
- the benefits of eating raw and living foods
- how to make delicious raw food meals that taste much like your favorite cooked food dishes
- how to prepare gourmet raw food meals, simply and easily
- how to shop for raw foods
- how to stock your kitchen and set up your environment for easy preparation of the raw food diet
- kitchen equipment use
- basic sprouting techniques
You will leave this class not only inspired and motivated but knowing how to make delicious raw food meals for yourself and others, and how to incorporate raw and living foods on a daily basis. The class includes a delicious, raw food lunch, dessert, and lots of food tasting.
The Menu for the class includes the following recipes from the Alissa Cohen book “Living on Live Foods”: Mock Salmon Pate, Stuffed Portabella Mushroom Caps, Collard Roll-Ups, Date Nut Torte, Cream of Broccoli Soup, Fettucini with Alfredo Sauce, and Angel Hair Pasta and Marinara Sauce.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certification as a Living on Live Foods Chef from Alissa Cohen, best selling author of “Living on Live Foods”, a comprehensive how to and recipe book.
If you plan to join us, please register as soon as possible. The early bird registration fee is $150 until three days before the class. The regular registration fee is $175.00 subject to availability.
