Bringing the healing power of raw and living foods into your life

A healthy diet is essential for optimal health. If you are not currently experiencing the level of health that you desire, are suffering from fatigue, weight gain or other health concerns, chances are you can significantly improve your life by learning to feed your body the foods it is best designed to handle.

How would you like to get healthier while eating delicious, satisfying foods? You will learn how to do this by attending the Living on Live Foods class in Olney, Maryland.

During this class we will make and eat a delicious, full course meal, including soup, salad, appetizers, main course, dessert and beverage, and learn how easy it is to do the same at home. It is very empowering, informative, pleasing to the palate, and lots of fun!

This is what you will learn:

  • what a raw and living food diet is
  • the benefits of eating raw and living foods
  • how to make delicious raw food meals that taste much like your favorite cooked food dishes
  • how to prepare gourmet raw food meals, simply and easily
  • how to shop for raw foods
  • how to stock your kitchen and set up your environment for easy preparation of the raw food diet
  • kitchen equipment use
  • basic sprouting techniques

You will leave this class not only inspired and motivated but knowing how to make delicious raw food meals for yourself and others, and how to incorporate raw and living foods on a daily basis. The class includes a delicious, raw food lunch, dessert, and lots of food tasting.

The Menu for the class includes the following recipes from the Alissa Cohen book “Living on Live Foods”: Mock Salmon Pate, Stuffed Portabella Mushroom Caps, Collard Roll-Ups, Date Nut Torte, Cream of Broccoli Soup, Fettucini with Alfredo Sauce, and Angel Hair Pasta and Marinara Sauce.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certification as a Living on Live Foods Chef from Alissa Cohen, best selling author of “Living on Live Foods”, a comprehensive how to and recipe book.

Next Class: Thursday, August 2, 2012, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Friday, August 3, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Olney, Maryland.
Prepare to lead the Level 1 Chef Certification Course as learn advanced raw food preparation techniquesDuring this advanced two day class which will be held in Olney, Maryland you will learn the following:

  • How to prepare elegant gourmet meals.
  • Sprouting and dehydrating techniques.
  • How to encourage and help people stay raw.
  • How to adjust the raw food diet for personal needs.
  • How to implement other components that make up a health raw food lifestyle.
  • How to lead the Level 1  - Chef Certification Course.

During this class you will learn advanced raw and living food preparation techniques that build on what you learned in the Level 1 Class. It is very empowering, informative, pleasing to the palate, and lots of fun!

You will leave this class not only inspired and motivated but knowing how to make delicious raw food meals for yourself and others, and how to incorporate raw and living foods on a daily basis. There will be lots of hands on practice and food tasting.

The Menu for the class includes the following recipes from the Alissa Cohen book “Living on Live Foods” : Pizza, Rye Bagels, Onion Dip, Enchilada, and Calzone.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certification as a Living on Live Foods Instructor from Alissa Cohen, best selling author of “Living on Live Foods”, a comprehensive how to and recipe book.

From this course you will be recognized as a Certified Living on Live Food Instructor and will be able to teach individuals and groups in the art of raw food preparation and the raw food lifestyle.

You will be able to teach the Living on Live Food Chef Certification prerequisite course for this certification as well.

This level 2 class is an essential part of starting your own raw and living food business. You will be able to offer individual training, food prep and level one group classes. When you become certified as a Living on Live Food instructor you can choose to have a listing on rawteacher.com. When people look for a teacher in their area they will find your contact information right on Alissa’s site. When people call Alissa asking for groups, classes and chefs, she will refer them directly to you!
