Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set up an appointment to meet with Dr. Bloem?

Please call 301-260-2601 to schedule an appointment.

Why does Dr. Bloem require payment of an appointment reservation fee?

Dr. Bloem’s time is valuable and it is not helpful if people schedule appointments that they are unable or unwilling to keep. We encourage people who are not sure if Dr. Bloem is the right physician for them to take some more time reviewing his website before scheduling an appointment.

Dr. Bloem requires payment of a non-refundable Appointment Reservation Fee of $75.00 for reservation of first patient appointments. This fee will be applied to the invoice that you will receive for your first appointment.

However, if you need to reschedule the appointment you may do so for up to 30 days after the date of the first scheduled appointment without losing your deposit. Please contact the office as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

Please use the PayPal button to send your Appointment Reservation Fee.

You may also send cash, a check or money order in the amount of $75.00 or call the office with your credit card information to reserve your appointment.

I have no health insurance. What are your fees?

Dr. Bloem’s fees are based on the amount of time he spends with his patients. Many patients find his fees surprisingly affordable, given that in many cases once they their health improves or their health concerns disappear they no longer have take expensive medications or subject themselves to risky treatment methods. In general, patients get better much more quickly under his care compared to strictly allopathic or pharmaceutical treatment methods. Please call the office for detailed information on fees.

Which health insurance policies do you accept?

Dr. Bloem does not participate directly with any health insurance company. However, there are health insurance policies that will reimburse patients for his medical services. These are usually PPO or POS type plans that allow for reimbursement when patients consult with physicians outside of the health insurance network. He does provide billing codes that insurance companies need to make a determination on reimbursement. If in doubt, we recommend that you contact your health insurance company before scheduling an appointment with.
