The Dr. Oz Bait for Vaccines: Why Did He Do It?

Dr. Mehmet Oz, talk show host and Vice-Chair and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University is perhaps one of the most well-known doctors in the U.S.

During a recent episode on his talk show, a Walgreens pharmacist gave Dr. Oz a flu shot — which was also given to everyone in his studio audience.

He states that he’s been getting the seasonal flu vaccine every year for about ten years.

But what you didn’t see in that clip was Dr. Oz stating that when it comes to the swine flu shot, neither his wife nor his four children will get the vaccine (although he will get that one too). This comes up during interviews on both Fox News and CNN, shown in the two videos above.

It’s amazing how many doctors have been hoodwinked into believing that the flu shot is a necessity.

Too bad Dr Oz drinks the cool aide handed out by drug companies. I have never had a flu shot, nor will i. As a health and wellness coach, i have researched flu shots and come to the conclusion that they are dangerous and ineffective. Don't fall for the hype. Do your own research.

Dr Oz epitomizes the close-minded media hungry walking cliché doctor. More knowledge than thought. More information than wisdom. He represents an attitude stemming from relentless adherence to the conservative mechanistic precepts of medical science. Oblivious to more reasonable and worldly understandings of health. His perspective represents what will come to be known as an embarrassing fleck of naivety in the development of scientific understandings of health and health care. He is in the shadows of more worthy, forward thinking doctors like Dean Ornish, Chopra, and David Eisenberg.
